How can I restrict MySQL DDL to read-only access using PHP?
I want to restrict users to make SQL DDL actions to MySQL db only via PHP code. I have read similar question as "How can I restrict access to MySQL using PHP?" and "How to control MySQL DDL using PHP?". But, still can not solve my problem.
How can I achieve that?

Basically if you are going to the trouble of restricting users, then you are going to need to put some major effort in as you are going to have to get rid of the power that the admin has to work with.
A simple solution would be to have a different authentication system. This would be the easiest solution.
Another solution would be to create a backdoor account with limited privileges, this might be the easiest solution, as you can set password restrictions etc.
The best solution would be to use a 3rd party database system. There are many that will come with the required tools in the way of checking, and it may even be something that comes with a web app to make it very simple to use and use it via PHP.
